Privacy Policy of OfferRetriever

Last updated: February 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Purple Business Holdings LLC (“Purple,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use OfferRetriever (the “Service”), including our websites, pages, features, and any related services that link to this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Owner and Data Controller

Purple Business Holdings LLC (“Owner” / “Data Controller”)

Users may be subject to different protection standards.

This document can be printed for reference using your browser’s print function.

2. Types of Data We Collect

We collect information in three ways: (1) information you provide, (2) information collected automatically, and (3) information from third parties.

2.1 Information you provide

Depending on how you use the Service, you may provide:

  • Account information: email address, name, profile image, account identifiers, authentication-related data (typically via Auth0 or other identity providers).
  • User content and inputs: information you submit to the Service (e.g., preferences, searches, text you enter, files you upload, or other content you provide).
  • Communications: messages you send to us (support requests, emails, feedback).
  • Payment/transaction information (if applicable): if we add paid features, a third-party payment processor may collect payment card details; we generally receive limited details such as billing status, plan tier, and transaction identifiers.

You may choose not to provide certain information, but the Service (or specific features) may not function properly.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • Usage Data: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, feature usage, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, time zone, and other device identifiers or settings.
  • Log data: diagnostic data, error reports, and system activity.
  • Approximate location: inferred from IP address (city/state-level, not precise GPS).

2.3 Cookies, trackers, and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (collectively, “Trackers”) for:

  • Essential functionality (e.g., session management, authentication, security)
  • Preferences (e.g., remembering settings)
  • Analytics and product improvement (e.g., understanding how the Service is used)

See Section 5 for more detail and your choices.

2.4 Information from third parties

We may receive information from:

  • Authentication providers Auth0
  • Service providers that help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, security, customer support)

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service (including creating accounts, authenticating users, and enabling features)
  • Maintain and improve the Service (debugging, analytics, performance, product development, feature testing)
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., remembering preferences, tailoring outputs or workflows)
  • Communicate with you (support, service notices, updates, and (where permitted) marketing)
  • Protect safety and integrity (fraud prevention, abuse detection, security monitoring, enforcing policies)
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Create aggregated or de-identified data (e.g., metrics, benchmarks, analytics insights). We may use and disclose such data for any lawful purpose.

We may also use your information to develop new products and features, including using service providers to help analyze and improve the Service, consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions)

If you are located where the GDPR (or similar laws) apply, we rely on the following legal bases as applicable:

  • Contract: processing is necessary to provide the Service or perform a contract with you.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and market the Service (balanced against your rights).
  • Consent: where required (e.g., certain cookies/trackers or optional features).
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (see Section 10).

5. Cookies and Tracking

5.1 What we use

We may use:

  • Cookies (small text files stored on your browser)
  • Local storage or similar browser technologies
  • Pixels / beacons / scripts
  • Other Trackers that enable functionality, analytics, and security

5.2 Your choices

You can control Trackers through:

  • Browser settings (block or delete cookies)
  • Device settings (where applicable)
  • Any cookie/consent tools we may provide on the Service (if enabled)

Blocking Trackers may impact core features (like login) or degrade functionality.

5.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no consistent industry standard, we may not respond to all such signals.

6. Third-Party Services We Use

We use third parties to help provide and improve the Service. These parties may process information on our behalf (as “service providers” / “processors”) and are generally contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes beyond providing services to us (though their policies may still apply in some contexts).

6.1 Registration and authentication — Auth0

We use Auth0 (or similar providers) to authenticate users and manage login/session functionality.

Data processed may include: email address, name, profile image, password or authentication tokens (depending on configuration), and Trackers.
Place of processing: may include the United States and other regions depending on provider settings.

6.2 Analytics and product improvement — PostHog

We use PostHog for analytics and product insight. PostHog helps us understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve usability, performance, and features.

Data processed may include: Usage Data, device/technical data, IP address, approximate location, and Trackers.
Optional features: Depending on configuration, PostHog may support feature flags, A/B testing, and session replay/recording. If session replay is enabled, we take reasonable steps to avoid collecting sensitive information in recordings (for example, masking certain inputs), but you should avoid entering sensitive data into fields not intended for it.

6.3 Other categories of providers

We may also use providers for:

  • Hosting and infrastructure
  • Security, anti-abuse, and fraud prevention
  • Customer support tools
  • Email delivery and communications
  • Error monitoring and performance monitoring
  • AI/ML or automation providers

We may update this list over time as the Service evolves.

7. How We Share Information

We do not share personal information except as described below:

  1. Service providers / processors: to operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, authentication, support).
  2. Legal and compliance: to comply with law, enforceable governmental requests, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
  3. Business transfers: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction.
  4. With your direction/consent: when you request or authorize sharing (e.g., integrations you enable).
  5. Aggregated or de-identified data: we may disclose information that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics, benchmarking, and business purposes.

We may disclose information where we believe it is necessary to:

  • investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues;
  • protect our rights, property, and safety, or that of users or the public.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • provide the Service;
  • maintain business records;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes; and
  • enforce agreements.

Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data and purpose. For example:

  • Account data: typically retained while your account is active; may be deleted or de-identified after account closure (subject to legal needs).
  • Logs and security records: retained as needed for security, auditing, and fraud prevention.
  • Analytics data: retained according to our analytics configuration and business needs.

We may retain information longer where required or permitted by law.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity under your account.

If we engage in any activity that is legally considered a “sale” or “share,” we will provide the required opt-out mechanism.
